The Milwaukee Brewers announced on Friday they will not pick up the 2010 club option on right-handed reliever David Weathers.

The 40-year-old went 4-6 with one save and a 3.92 earned run average in 68 relief appearances last season with the Reds and Brewers.

In 19 career seasons, Weathers has compiled a 73-88 record with 75 saves and a 4.25 ERA in 964 games -- 69 starts -- with Toronto, Florida, the Yankees, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Cubs, the Mets, Houston and the Brewers.
