The Oakland Athletics have sent left-handed pitcher Dana Eveland to the Toronto Blue Jays for a player to be named later or cash considerations, the team announced on Saturday.

Eveland appeared in 13 games last seasons with Oakland and started nine of them. He posted a 2-4 record with a 7.16 earned run average.

Over his five seasons in the majors, which has also included stints with Arizona and Milwaukee, he is 13-17 over 83 games (44 starts) with a 5.54 ERA.
