It's Boomer Sooner versus Hail to the Victors.
Two of college football's preeminent programs, Oklahoma and Michigan, announced Monday that the two teams have scheduled a home and home series for 2025 and 2026.
The crimson and cream will host the Wolverines Sept. 6, 2025. Michigan hosts OU in the “Big House” Sept. 12, 2026.
Oklahoma Athletic Director Joe Castiglione said of the match up, “We remain committed to playing games that celebrate the history and excitement of college football.”
It'll be the first regular season meeting between the two programs. The Sooners beat Michigan 14-6 in their only meeting which came in the 1976 Orange Bowl.
With 910 victories, Michigan has the most wins in college football history. Oklahoma, meanwhile, has more wins than any program in the modern era (since World War II).
