A press conference has been tentatively set for 1 p.m. Friday.
Haith will replace Danny Manning, who left Tulsa 14 days ago to be the head coach at Wake Forest.
Haith comes from the University of Missouri, where he spent three years and winning 76 games. Before that he was at the University of Miami and recorded a 129-101 mark.
Haith is expected to become the highest paid coach in TU athletic history. Reports indicate Haith could make close to$1.7 million dollar per year.
