University of Tulsa basketball coach Danny Manning is mulling over an offer made this week by Wake Forest, a source tells 2NEWS.
2NEWS learned Thursday that TU has increased its inital offer for Manning to $1.2 million, including pay raises for assistant coaches as part of the deal.
A source insists that Manning is still weighing both offers.
As of 5 p.m. Thursday, no team meeting had been scheduled for the TU men’s basketball team.
The plane that took Manning to Wake forest in Winston-Salem N.C. returned to Tulsa just after 5 p.m. Thursday. It is unknown if Manning was on the flight, but he is believed to be in the Dallas area attending the NCAA Final Four.
