University of Tulsa basketball coach Danny Manning is mulling over an offer made this week by Wake Forest, a source tells 2NEWS.

Manning toured the Wake Forest campus Wednesday, where he reportedly was offered more than $2 million per year as the Demon Deacons’ men’s basketball head coach .

2NEWS learned Thursday that TU has increased its inital offer for Manning to $1.2 million, including pay raises for assistant coaches as part of the deal.

A source insists that Manning is still weighing both offers.
