Tulsa falls at Memphis, 92-82

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Shaq Goodwin had 28 points and 11 rebounds and Dedric Lawson added 27 points and 12 rebounds as Memphis beat Tulsa 92-82 on Sunday.

The double-doubles were the 15th for Goodwin, a senior, and already the 14th for the freshman Lawson. Thahson Burrell added 11 points and nine rebounds for the Tigers (16-13, 7-9 American), who shot 54 percent and were 31 of 39 from the free-throw line while outrebounding Tulsa 40-25.

The Golden Hurricane (19-10, 11-6), who came in with a three-game win streak and had won 11 of their last 14, were led by  Shaquille Harrison with 20 points.

Memphis led 82-78 when a 10-1 run, capped by a reverse dunk and an alley-oop by Goodwin, left the Tigers ahead by 13 with 37 seconds remaining.

Tulsa led 47-46 at the break before Lawson scored 21 points and Goodwin 14 in the second half.
