NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- As a University of Oklahoma quarterback, Blake Bell sometimes heard complaints from "open" receivers he missed last year.
Now he's a tight end and is on the other end of the deal.
Bell says with a smile that he's "always" in the ear of quarterback Trevor Knight with some good-natured grief since he moved to tight end as he searched for playing time.
And Bell says he's enjoyed the position change that includes blocking, running pass routes and catching the football.
And Knight said he and Bell have clicked because of their understanding of the offense and because Bell understands what Knight wants to see from a receiver.
