OSU Cowboys offensive coordinator Todd Monken hasn't heard from suitors about head coach vacancies

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Todd Monken says he hasn't heard from any school about becoming a head coach.

Monken's stock as a potential head coach has risen as he's helped No. 24 Oklahoma State lead the Big 12 Conference in scoring offense at 45.6 points per game even though the Cowboys have had to use three quarterbacks due to injuries.

Three previous coordinators under Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy - Larry Fedora, Tim Beckman and Dana Holgorsen - have gone on to Football Bowl Subdivision head coaching jobs.

Monken invited reporters on Monday to "give my number out" and called speculation about his future "just hearsay and rumor."

Gundy says he thinks Monken will be a head coach someday.
