STILLWATER, Okla. - An Oklahoma State defensive tackle and former Booker T. Washington star has again found himself in trouble with the law.
Calvin Barnett was arrested Monday for driving under suspension, his third such violation in six months.
Oklahoma State University's The Daily O'Collegian reports Barnett was involved in an accident following OSU's homecoming game Saturday. Barnett was taken to Stillwater Medical Center for a possible internal back injury, according to the publication.
Barnett was charged Tuesday. The 21-year-old was twice charged with driving under suspension in April, along with several other driving offenses.
Barnett, who initially signed with the University of Arkansas, was the top prospect in the state in 2009. After two years of junior college play, Barnett joined the Cowboys in 2012, recording 11 tackles in four games thus far.
