Trump Will Sign Executive Order To Undo Obama Power Plant Regulations

<p>EPA director Scott Pruitt confirmed President Donald Trump will sign an executive order to roll back Obama-era power plant regulations.</p><p>&quot;We&#39;ve made tremendous progress on our environment, and we can be both pro-jobs and pro-environment. And the executive order&#39;s going to address the past administration&#39;s effort to kill jobs across this country through the Clean Power Plan,&quot; Pruitt said on&nbsp;<a href="http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/epa-chief-slams-paris-climate-pact-bad-deal/story?id=46371987" target="_blank">ABC&#39;s &quot;This Week.&quot;</a></p><p>The Obama administration&#39;s&nbsp;<a href="https://www.epa.gov/cleanpowerplan/clean-power-plan-existing-power-plants" target="_blank">Clean Power Plan</a>&nbsp;was first introduced in 2015 to help cut carbon pollution from fossil fuel-fired power plants.
