The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is tracking Santa Claus as he leaves the North Pole on Christmas Eve and makes his way delivering presents to children around the world.
During his journey to spread joy and cheer worldwide, NORAD will provide up-to-the-minute details of Santa's location for eager children.
NORAD has been telling anxious children about Santa's whereabouts every year since 1955 when a newspaper ad invited kids to call Santa. But the number had a typo, and kids wound up talking to the Continental Aerospace Defense Command, NORAD's predecessor.
