A warming station is open for anyone who needs it at Crosstown Church of Christ today. It is at 3400 E. Admiral Pl.
The church opened its doors last night at 7:30 p.m. and will continue this operation until further notice.
The church is basing its continued operation on occupancy and status of power outages.
Right now Tulsa County still has 3,879 customers out of electricity.
EMSA spokesperson, Kelli Bruer, said on Friday from 1:30 p.m. to midnight there were three motor vehicle accidents, one cold exposure and one fall.
From midnight to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, there were 18 motor vehicle accidents, two cold exposures, seven falls and one suspected CO poisoning.
Bruer said this is a big increase compared to a normal Saturday. She says they normally respond to five to 10 accidents in a 24-hour period on a Saturday.
