TULSA-- Two-term Mayor Dewey Bartlett gave his concession speech to a crowd of supporters at the Campbell Hotel in Tulsa Tuesday night.
Mayor Bartlett says he’s proud of his accomplishments over the last seven years, adding he will finish his term off strong.
“Things that are in the process of being completed or being started and we are going to complete them and continue them because I am still mayor of this great city of Tulsa and I’m not stopping," he told supporters during a concession speech.
Bartlett spoke about several of his accomplishments while in office and saying he intended for the city to live within its means during his two terms. Bartlett says he lived up to that campaign promise.

“We thought it would be, I thought we had a good shot of getting close to 50 percent ourselves so something changed obviously something a little bit different than what we thought whatever it was maybe we'll find out,” Bartlett said.
The mayor says he plans to stay in Tulsa once his term is over, but he's not sure of his political future.
