TULSA-- It began as a typical quiet Monday night at Fat Daddy's Pub and Grill in Tulsa.
By tipoff it was standing room only as fans packed the bar to cheer on OKC.

Shirley Graham heads the Tulsa chapter of the Blue Alliance, the Thunder's official fan club.

"We started out with like 20 of my friends and we have over 4,200 members in the chapter. We post and talk during the games when we're not having watch parties,” Graham said.

The team's growing fan base has been a blessing for bar owner Sean Welborn.

"The good part this time of the year is it's pretty typically a slow time of year so the thunder really give us a boost," Welborn said.

Graham says the watch parties average more than 100 fans for each the team's playoff games.

“Everybody likes a winner, so what the Thunder has brought to even Tulsa, I mean it doesn't matter if you're an OU fan, OSU fan, everybody loves the Thunder."

From fans to business owners, the feelings for the Thunder are mutual.
