BISON, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that three people were killed in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 81 near Bison in southern Garfield County.
An OHP report says the crash occurred about 8:15 p.m. Saturday near the small town about 15 miles south of Enid.
Troopers say a Hyundai Accent carrying two people was northbound in the southbound lanes of the highway when it crashed head-on with a southbound Chevrolet Cruz driven by 23-year-old Antonio Medina Jr. of Enid.
Medina and both people in the Hyundai were killed. The names of the two in the Hyundai were not immediately released and the OHP says the crash remained under investigation Saturday.
