Small earthquake reported in east-central Oklahoma near Boley in Okfuskee County

BOLEY, Okla. (AP) — A 3.4-magnitude earthquake has been reported in east-central Oklahoma.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake happened around 8 p.m. Saturday about 7 miles south-southwest of Boley in Okfuskee County.

A sheriff's dispatcher says the department hadn't received any reports of injury or damage.

Geologists say earthquakes with magnitudes of 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest felt by humans.
