OSU issues campus alert after receiving 2nd assault and battery report

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State University police received a second on-campus assault report of the month Tuesday evening, and believe each may have been carried out by the same man.

University police were notified of the incident, which reportedly occurred in a parking lot outside of the school's Morrison Apartments housing around 4 a.m. Sept. 7, Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say the suspect's description is similar to the suspect in an attempted strong-arm robbery reported two days earlier. The purported crime is said to have also happened near the Morrison Apartments.

The suspect is described as a black or light-complected multi-racial man, approximately 5'8" to 6'2" tall, weighing between 160 to 200 pounds with a muscular build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, gloves, blue jeans and a ski mask covering most of his face.
