OSAGE COUNTY, Okla. - An Osage County man has admitted to stealing two horses he was hired to break and train.
Michael Delaney Jr., 26, was arraigned on two counts of larceny of domestic animals Tuesday after turning himself into authorities the day before.
A Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, or TSCRA, investigation led authorities to Delaney.
According to rangers with the association, Delaney obtained the horses on a training pretense, but didn't return them when the owner requested the animals.
The investigation revealed at least one of the horses was traded, but has since be found, says TSCRA special ranger Bart Perrier.
The second horse's whereabouts are still unknown.
Delaney was released from jail on $15,000 bond.
