OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An Oklahoma man convicted for stabbing five women to death in 1992 has received five life sentences.
Danny Keith Hooks was initially sentenced to death but his sentencing was overturned in 2010 by the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
The case was known as the Green Pasture murders, named for the Oklahoma City neighborhood where the May 1992 stabbings occurred.
Hooks had previously been convicted in Oklahoma for distribution of narcotics, and in California for rape, kidnapping and assault.
An Oklahoma court has resentenced Hooks to five life sentences in prison without parole.
