The state's specialty crop industry is set to get a boost.
The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry says it has more than $380,000 available until mid-April through its Specialty Crop Block Grant for farmers and community organizations.
The money is for specialty crops like several fruits and tree nuts, and could be used to enhance their profile in the food market and help spread nutrition knowledge.
Applications for grants will be accepted until April 19.
