Oklahoma City firefighters battle 40-acre grass fire

OKLAHOMA CITY - Officials from the Oklahoma City Fire Department say strong winds spread sparks from a grass fire, igniting the grass on the other side of the road.

It happened in the northwestern part of the city.

One home was seriously damaged and several others were threatened.

Two men were rescued outside of one of the homes but no one was injured.

Fire officials say the fire was contained to 40 acres.

The cause is still under investigation.
