SHAWNEE, Okla. - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol's bomb squad has removed a suspicious device from outside a gas station in Shawnee.
Experts plan to detonate the device at the city's firing range to find out if it contains explosives.
Police say a woman told them she had given a man a ride Saturday. After she dropped him off, she noticed he had left a cylinder wrapped in duct tape in her car.
The highway patrol's robot retrieved the device.
There is no word on if the device has been detonated.
