MIDWEST CITY, Okla. - An Oklahoma City-area school district announced it will not have class Tuesday due to the threat of severe weather.

Mid-Del Schools, east of Oklahoma City, announced the closure on its Twitter and Facebook pages citing "the safety and security of our students and staff is our number one priority."
