ENID, Okla. (AP) -- Police in Enid say a man is charged with harming a child after an infant's mother brought the baby to a hospital seeking treatment for injuries. Officials said Friday that the 1-year-old baby had numerous visible injuries. However, the baby wasn't gravely hurt. Enid police say detectives spoke to the mother's boyfriend, Brandon Chattam, and arrested him. Chattam was being held without bond on complaints of causing injury to a minor child and possession of marijuana. He is being held in the Garfield County Jail. The child was treated and released from the emergency room. The Department of Human Services was notified about the alleged abuse.
