Former OKC doctor, William Valuck, arrested in Texas, faces homicide, drug distribution charges

OKLAHOMA CITY -  A former Oklahoma doctor is behind bars facing charges for homicide and drug distribution.

Texas police and DEA agents surrounded 71-year-old William Valuck’s home in Kilgore, Texas, around 4:00 Friday afternoon to serve felony arrest warrants.

The warrant service was provided at the request of Oklahoma law enforcement officials, and include nine counts of homicide and 43 counts of drug distribution in Oklahoma.

Back in 2002, when he lived in Oklahoma, Valuck was convicted of money laundering, wire fraud and devising a scheme to defraud investors of hundreds of thousands of dollars. He spent 70 months in federal prison before he was released in 2005 and moved to East Texas.

At one time, Valuck was the supervising physician at Vista Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Valuck was booked into the Rusk County Justice Center and bond was denied.

He will be extradited to the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office in Oklahoma City.
