MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Muskogee mall shooting suspect Dondray Fowler has been found guilty on all counts, including first-degree murder.
The jury deliberated for four hours Friday before convicting Fowler of first-degree murder and four charges of assault and battery with a deadly weapon around 4:30 p.m.
Fowler was accused in the shooting death of 17-year-old Jarrod Reed at Muskogee's Arrowhead Mall in 2010. Five others were injured.
Fowler's attorneys say he was acting in self-defense, and say an appeal will be filed.
Sentencing is not until October. The jury recommended a sentence of life with the possibility of parole for the murder charge and an additional 30 years per assault and battery charge.
