TULSA - The BBB warns people to be on the lookout for bogus emails claiming to be from Google's Gmail provider.
It promises users a free Apple iPad 3.
"Winners" are instructed to click on a link to claim their prize. The link takes you to surveys that request your personal information.
Once they have your info you can be signed up for premium SMS services, which leads to increases in cellphone bills.
BBB officials say this also puts you at risk for identity theft.
If you get the email delete it immediately and do not click on any links.
