Recall round-up: Angelcare Movement and Sound Baby Monitors, Cuisinart food processors pulled

TULSA - Six hundred thousand Angelcare Movement and Sound Baby Monitors have been recalled.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports a chord that runs under babies mattresses are a strangulation risk.

The CPSC says industry-wide since 2002, eight babies have died by strangulation due to baby monitor cords.

The recalled Angelcare monitors have been on the market since 1999 and the company is offering a free repair kit including a rigid protective cord cover.

Cuisinart also announced it would be pulling products from store shelves this week, recalling about 25,000 food processors because the reversible slicing disk can come lose and poses a laceration risk.

Cuisinart will replace the disk and lid to fix the food processor.

There are seven recalled models all with a seven cup plastic work bowl.
