TULSA - Solving mysteries is the theme of the Neighbors Along The Line (NATL) Summer Reading Railroad.
During the month-long program local community leaders are visiting NATL's 5000 Charles Page Boulevard home to support children's literacy in Tulsa.
The free children's summer reading program happens every Wednesday from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
Throughout the program NATL provides the children with books to read at home.
This summer's Reading Railroad has a mystery theme that will encourage critical thinking and is designed to help kids stay actively engaged in learning during their summer break.
The "Back to School" Party with local athletes will be August 1, 2012.
Each week offers different activities but the main focus of the program is to encourage reading and learning.
NATL primarily serves the 74127 zip code, where 56 percent of the population is classified as low-income.
All children are welcome, but preference will be given to those in Neighbors Along The Line's service area.
