Better Business Bureau: Facebook fake poses malware danger

TULSA - It comes by email to your inbox.

The Better Business Bureau says it is specifically designed to look like a real notification from Facebook, including the logo and color scheme.

It claims there's Facebook activity you may have missed and urges you to click on a link to see what's going on on the social media site.

It may even include a friend's real email address, but the BBB warns do not click any links.

Instead, delete the email and log into your actual Facebook account and check there for recent activity.

The BBB says clicking on links could take you to a website that downloads malware, which scans your computer for banking and other sensitive information.
