TULSA - Tulsa police released dozens of video clips of a chase and officer-involved shooting that happened on Nov. 17.

Multiple units responded after an officer attempted to pull over a Dodge truck that was reportedly speeding away from a Quik Trip in the 3100 block of South Sheridan Ave. at about 1 a.m.

The videos show an officer chasing the truck through east Tulsa neighborhoods for nearly 10 minutes. At 1:03 a.m., the video shows the truck slam on its brakes, then back up into the police unit.

Police said in about the 7700 block of E. 26 St., the officer got out of his vehicle and fired several shots into the fleeing pickup. The video shows the officer fire more than a dozen shots as the truck speeds away.

TPD reports the officer's arm was injured when the air bag deployed.

Officers later found the Dodge in a parking lot in about the 6700 block of E. 28 St. They said the four occupants had fled into a nearby neighborhood.

Officers searched the neighborhood and found 27-year-old Richard Jean Letourneau and three others. All four occupants of the truck were taken in for questioning, according to police.

Letourneau was booked into the Tulsa jail on complaints of reckless driving, eluding (endangering others), leaving the scene of an injury accident and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Letourneau's first court date is set for December 19.
