Yarnell, Arizona fire video: Timelapse video shows deadly wildfire spreading Sunday afternoon

CONGRESS, Ariz. - A wildfire that tripled in size in just hours Sunday sent thick smoke over parts of northern Arizona much of the afternoon.

Matt Oss, a viewer of KJRH's Phoenix station (ABC15), captured timelapse footage of the Yarnell Hill Fire burning near the small town of Yarnell around 4 p.m. Sunday.

With a vantage point just off State Route 89 in Congress, Ariz., Oss' footage clearly showed flames creeping over a mountaintop as thick smoke poured into the air.

On Sunday night, officials confirmed 19 Prescott firefighters had been killed (http://bit.ly/15Y2C17) in the 6,000-acre blaze and 250 structures had been lost.
