OKLAHOMA CITY - A man is dead after a possible hit-and-run collision involving three vehicles early Saturday morning in Oklahoma County.
Bibian Villanueva, 26, of Oklahoma City was killed about 12:17 a.m. Saturday on 1-44 north of 1-40.
The three vehicles were traveling southbound on I-44, when a Freightliner, which was in the turning lane to I-40, swerved into the inside lane, striking the vehicle in which Villanueva was a passenger. The vehicle went under the Freightliner and trapped Villanueva for about two hours, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The Freightliner continued southbound and was followed by a witness. An OHP trooper was able to stop the vehicle.
A third vehicle struck the second on the passenger side, while it was disabled in the center and outside lane.
The medical examiner pronounced Villanueva dead on the scene, from headed, trunk, internal, arm and leg injuries, according to the trooper's report.
The driver of the Freightliner was not injured, The driver of the second was transported to OU Medical Center in critical condition. The third driver was treated and released with minor cuts and scrapes.
The exact cause of the collisions is pending investigation, with possible charges to be filed.
