Tulsa conducting downtown housing survey

Last Update: 11/06/2009 4:10 pm
A comprehensive study is now underway to evaluate and document the market demand for housing in Tulsa’s downtown urban neighborhoods. Tulsa’s Economic Development Commission determined that a survey of downtown housing was among the greatest current downtown development needs, and decided to commission the survey at the Fall 2008 retreat.

According to Bruce Bolzle, chairman of the Tulsa Economic Development Commission, the completed study will be a useful tool to attract urban housing developers to the community.

To participate in the survey, go to http://www.cdsmr.com/surveymaps/tulsasurvey.html. At the site, please complete the web-based survey and then click submit. The survey will be available through November 23. Your input is critical to the accuracy and success of the study.

A telephone survey will also be conducted during November.

The focus of the study will be downtown urban neighborhoods: Brady Heights/OSU, Owen Park/Crosbie Heights, Riverview/Uptown, Central Park and the Urban Core.
