Early Tuesday morning, a homeowner in the 4600 block of E. 2nd Street called 911 to report his family was awakened to the sound of their front door being kicked in.
The man told investigators he got out of bed and saw a suspect running to a getaway car with his laptop computer.
Police broadcast a description of the suspects' vehicle. Officers Brad Sherrill and Chad Moyer stopped the car at 7800 E. Marshall minutes later.
Officers said one of the suspects was holding a laptop computer. A footprint taken at the crime scene matched a suspect's shoe.
Investigators believe the suspects were responsible for another burglary that happened earlier Monday evening.
Taken into custody were 19 year old Theophilus Jenkins, 19 year old Darrell Seals and 18 year old Michael Hilliard.
