INTERPRETERS??? Officers needing to speak Spanish?? What? This is the United States of America! Hispanics MUST learn to speak our national language or GO BACK HOME!

d44jesus I don't want to spend anymore of my tax money to teach police how to speak Spanish or have an interpreter. The latin people need to learn to speak English. You wouldn't to go to Mexico and expect them to learn English, would you?

Tulsa police have had a problem communicating with the hispanic community because they don't speak spanish and the hispanics don't speak much english. This has been a problem for a very long time and until the police department starts learning spanish or having interpreters with them on calls to the hispanic neighborhoods, then this problem will continue.

How stupid is this? The reason for not calling the police in the event of a crime is because the victim is here illegally. The perpetrator is probably an illegal alien as well. If Hispanics want the trust and protection of the Tulsa police department then they should make sure they are an American citizen. As long as that is the case, then the Tulsa police department exists for their protection, just like any other citizen, no matter what race, creed, or color.

Don't block the intersection! It could cost you.
Oh, those dreaded shopping traffic tie-ups, cars bumper to bumper, that go along with the weekend after Thanksgiving and the rest of the holidays. And if you let your impatience get the best of you when trying to get through some of those crowded intersections, it could set you back quite a chunk of change.
