A big weekend for football across the state and a big weekend for the Tulsa Public Schools Police Department.
This is the first year the force is fully staffed for security at stadiums.
In the past the district relied on city police, county sheriff's deputies and private security firms.
TPS Police Chief Gary Rudick says he has a minimum of six officers at every game.
While, his crew will handle most of the patrols.
There will be those big games when Chief Rudick says he'll call in back-up from the city and county, "On any event where I feel like we need a TPD presences I try to have them here because they have the direct link to emergency operations center."
TPS Board Members voted to create it's own police department last year; Chief Rudick says his department became fully staffed last fall.
