An arrest warrant was out for Allen Shields shortly after he bonded out of jail Tuesday morning. Shields surrendered to police around 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Tulsa Police are investigating a possible link between a missing woman and Monday night's attack of another woman.
Police believe Shields may have been trying to murder his ex-girlfriend.
Shields was arrested Monday night; he posted bond early Tuesday morning.
Later in the day, a judge increased the $90,000 bond to $1.25 million.
Police don't know for sure what Shields' intentions were.
But, they say the 33-year-old may have been planning to kill his ex-girlfriend and her daughter.
"When they came home they were ambushed by a suspect inside their home," TPD Capt. Jonathan Brooks said.
Investigators say shields had a gun, handcuffs, masks and sleeping agents.
The woman's nine-year-old daughter grabbed the phone, locked herself in the bathroom and called 9-1-1.
Police were there in minutes.
"This girl not only saved her own life but saved her mother's life as well by her actions in just those few minutes," Capt. Brooks said.
Court records show the woman had filed a protective order against Shields last February.
But, she's not the only woman who's sought protection from him.
"My heart goes out to that family and I hope everybody is okay," Hylan Tucker says his sister dated Shields three years ago.
Angie Tucker filed a protective order in October of 2007.
The mother of two disappeared a couple of weeks later.
"My emotions tell me he may have had something to do with it. But, the police have to do their job because of the fact that everybody's innocent until proven guilty," Tucker's brother said.
The Tulsa Police Department isn't saying much about the Tucker case.
Detectives did confirm that they are looking into the possibility Shields may know something.
"It'll come out, what happened will come out and justice will be served. Because you can only hide and run for so long," Tucker said.
Shields has been charged with five counts in Monday night's case, two of those are kidnapping.
He has not been charged with any crime in the Tucker case.
