Only a handful of cities in this area will allow fireworks for this fourth of July.

Bixby, Broken Arrow, Claremore, Owasso, Sapulpa and Sand Springs sold permits this year.

Even if you purchased one, these communities restrict the type of firework you can set-off.

Some stands are being proactive and handing out flyers with all the rules.

If you break them you're looking at a high dollar fine.

In the city of Tulsa, you can't set off any type of firework.

Those fines can run up to 500-dollars.

Police have already been getting a lot of calls.
