Tulsa police made an arrest after two separate shootings Wednesday.
Both happened near Pine and N. Lewis Avenue.
In the first shooting, that happened just before 4pm, officers said 18-year-old Michael Dorsey was riding in the front passenger seat of a car when he shot 20-year-old Ryan Jones in the backseat.
Authorities said Jones died at a Tulsa hospital.
Police said Dorsey and the driver, Antwone Hankins, fled the scene.
Dorsey was located later in the evening and was arrested for 1st degree murder and two counts of shooting with intent to kill.
In the second shooting, over an hour later, police say three women got into an argument in front of the Save-A-Lot. Officers say one of the women shot another woman. The suspects were immediately pulled over and taken into custody since so many officers were already in the neighborhood for the previous shooting.
The victim of the second shooting is in serious condition.
Police do not believe the crimes are related.
