Tulsa police are looking for a suspect they say robbed a midtown bank just before 1:00 Saturday afternoon.

Detectives say the man walked into the Bank of the West at 2201 E. 21st Street and stood in the teller line for a moment. He then put a semi-automatic handgun to the back of a female customer and told a teller he would shoot the customer if the teller didn't hand over money from the cash drawer.

The teller gave the man the money and he left the bank on foot. No one was hurt.

Witnesses describe the suspect as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 170-180 pounds and having olive skin. They say he also had a moustache and a full beard which a witness said looked fake. The suspect was wearing orange-tinted safety glasses, a jacket and pants with a camouflage print and black tennis shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS or the Robbery Tip line at 527-0085.
