Police investigate stabbing scene
Tulsa police are searching for the suspect in an attempted armed robbery that resulted in the victim being stabbing.

Officers tell 2News that a man attempted to rob the Crankcase Services machine shop near 21st and N Sheridan at 2:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon.  The victim, a 60-year-old male, was stabbed in an ensuing scuffle.

As the robber attempted to flee the scene, police say the victim retrieved a shotgun and fired two shots.  Police do not know if the suspect was hit.

EMSA transported the victim to St. John in fair condition.  His injuries are not expected to be life-threatening. 

Police describe the victim as a stocky black male wearing a black hoodie, a black leather jacket, and black jeans.  Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect should call 596-COPS.
