Man dies of injuries from domestic stabbing

A man injuured during a fight with a woman died of his injuries.

Tulsa Police officials said officers were called to a home in the 1800 block of Hudson Avenue around noon on Saturday, November 14th.  Investigators said 26-year-old Wendell Alexander and 29-year-old Latasha Shaw were arguing when Alexander assaulted Shaw.  Police said Shaw grabbed a knife and stabbed Alexander in the chest.      

Alexander was transported to a hospital for treatment.  

Shaw was interviewed and released.

Homicide detectives were notified Tuesday that Alexander had died as a result of his injuries.

The investigation was continuing Thursday morning.
