George Strait & Reba coming to Tulsa's BOK Center

Last Update: 11/03 9:33 am
In a news release posted last night on George Strait's official website, the "King of Country" announced he's kicking off a new arena tour early next year and bringing along legendary country star and Oklahoman Reba McEntire.

The Tulsa date is set for Saturday, February 20th at the BOK Center according to Strait's news release. Information on ticket availability has not been announced.

The concert tour begins in Baltimore January 22nd and wraps up April 10th in Des Moines.  19 performance dates are on the tour including stops in Wichita, Kansas City, Little Rock and at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Strait and McEntire performed together for the first time in many years for a soldout concert earlier this year at the new Dallas Cowboys stadium in Arlington.  It sold out in less than an hour.

Strait has 57 number one hits, 33 multi-platinum albums and holds the record for most CMA Award wins and a record 17 CMA Entertainer of the Year nominations.

McEntire is one of the most successful recording artists in history.  She's sold 55 million albums worldwide and has 33 number one singles.  Billboard magazine calls her the biggest female hit-maker in country music history.
