Firefighter injured battling house fire

Fire officials said the firefighter got hurt while battling a house fire in north Tulsa Thursday near 42nd and N. Delaware.

Investigators said the homeowners tried to pu tout the fire themselves Thursday morning before calling 911.

The injured firefighter was burned on the neck.

Investigators said faulty wiring is to blame for the fire and the estimated damage to the home is about $40,000.
