A 59-year-old homeless man is facing a list of criminal charges after he allegedly assaulted a fire fighter with a crow bar.
Witnesses say John Andrew Davis attacked firefighters as they arrived to put out a fire in a backyard that Davis had reportedly set.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital after he was hit in the arm by the crowbar. Another firefighter tackled Davis and held him at the scene until police arrived.
Davis was arrested for setting the fire, assaulting a fire fighter and resisting arrest.
