Last Update: 11/04/2009 12:04 pm
Tulsa County deputies discovered eight pipe bombs outside of a North Tulsa home Tuesday afternoon after getting an anonymous tip about a meth lab.

Deputies also found the remains of a meth lab with the pipe bombs.

The Tulsa Police Bomb Squad deployed a robot to render the devices safe.  One of the pipe bombs exploded during the removal operation. No one was injured.

North Lewis Avenue was shut down between the 5500 block and the 6000 block for several hours.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning.

The Tulsa County Drug Task Force along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are investigating.
