Shame on all those who left negative comments when they obviously didn't read the article. Of course when I first heard about this from my sister who was at the scene, I was outraged too, until I found out neighbors and family were looking for this lost child with autism. I was told he looked frightened on the corner of the intersection and people where trying to stop him from going further when he darted into traffic from fear!! I'm sure his family had no clue that he had ran to the location that he did. Shame on you all for your negative judgement.

Have you not read the article, it says he got out of the house, and his parents were looking for him. He was a 5 year old boy, and he was loved and cared for, You can't watch your kids 24 hours a day, and if you do then maybe you should donate your time and help others instead of judging them. May he rest in peace and god bless his parents and family and I pray they find comfort in this terrible time.

5 years old is not the age that parents need to let their kids become, "Free-Range Children". This is horrible.

Where were the parents of a 5 year old child.

Don't block the intersection! It could cost you.
Oh, those dreaded shopping traffic tie-ups, cars bumper to bumper, that go along with the weekend after Thanksgiving and the rest of the holidays. And if you let your impatience get the best of you when trying to get through some of those crowded intersections, it could set you back quite a chunk of change.
