There's a new green fleet about to hit Oklahoma streets.
AT&T will add 30 Compressed Natural Gas or CNG vehicles to their service fleet this year.
The CNG vehicles burn cleaner and cost less to gas up.
The switch to more environmentally friendly trucks is due in large part to some new legislation.
A new house bill will provide a 50% tax credit to anyone who buys or converts a vehicle to CNG.
AT&T officials hope more companies will follow their lead and go green.
"With Oklahoma being such a large producer of natural gas, it's a natural fit for Oklahoma companies to step up to the plate and take advantage of these new opportunities," said Bryan Gonterman, the president of AT&T Oklahoma.
AT&T plans to add more CNG vehicles to their service fleets every year.
