TULSA - Firefighters say strong winds caused problems fighting a blaze at a north Tulsa home late Monday.
"When we arrived the fire had vented through the roof of the structure, which created an opening. The heavy strong winds did cause a problem with extinguishing the fire," said firefighter Jerry Brown.
Fire crews were able to bring the blaze under control in about 20 minutes.
No one was in the home, near 46th Street North and Peoria, at the time of the fire.
The cause is still under investigation.
